First Sight Eyeglasses, Inc. is a global eye care nonprofit dedicated to expanding eye care access worldwide through a practical idea: do not let vision correction take weeks or months when it can happen in minutes. We collaborate with NGOs, clinics, schools, Lions and Rotary Clubs, faith-based organizations, hospitals, and community groups to run vision screenings for underserved communities, then provide customized prescription eyeglasses on-site and on-the-spot.
Our portable vision screening system was built for real-world settings. It is simple, affordable, and designed for low-resource environments. Where eye care professionals are available, First Sight supports their work. Where they are not, trained non-medical personnel can operate the system safely through structured training modules.
