First Sight’s Kobo Toolbox Data Collection Guide
First Sight is pleased to offer a free software system for all First Sight users. It gives every field operator a simple, reliable way to record and update information in real time. Each screening is captured on the spot and sent automatically to the home office, where supervisors can see personal details, the number of people screened, how many have refractive errors and need eyeglasses, the lens strength for each eye, and confirmation that First Sight eyeglasses have been delivered to every recipient.
What is the Kobo Toolbox
• Kobo Toolbox is an open-source suite for field data collection, created by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
• It's tailored to create and support data on humanitarian projects and development, research, and social good.
